Teachers Federal Credit Union (TFCU), one of the country’s largest credit unions recently donated $5,000 to support the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Commack.
“Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Commack helps to provide medical care to thousands of Long Island residents. We recognize the great medical attention this renowned outpatient center offers to our communities,” said Robert G. Allen, President & CEO, TFCU. “Through our support, we hope to help continue their outstanding care for our Long Island neighbors combating cancer.”
On February 11, 2016, Cheryl Haughie, Administrator of the Long Island Sites Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Steve Sugman, MD – Chief of Commack Medical Oncology, joined Jennifer Gunn, Desiree Lopez and Ms. Robinson of TFCU in presenting the $5,000 donation.
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Commack provides Long Island patients with access to medical professionals trained to treat various cancers including neurologic, hematologic, gynecologic, skin, prostate, breast and colorectal. Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Commack also provides screening, diagnostics, radiation oncology, and surgery, nutritional and genetics counseling, as well as support services.
