Undefeated Blue Devil Special Olympics Floor Hockey Team Gets Town Proclamation

At the February 9, 2016 Town Board meeting, Huntington Supervisor Frank P. Petrone and the Town Council recognized the Huntington Blue Devil Special Olympics Floor Hockey team for an outstanding year.

The team has been around now for 6 years with an overall record of 38-6-0. They won two gold metals and went undefeated with a record of 6-0 this season.

In presenting a Town Board proclamation to the team, Supervisor Petrone congratulated the team, and parents, with Superintendent James Polanksi and Board of Education President Tom DiGiacomo in attendance.
