ind Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who exposed himself to a girl on her way to school in Cold Spring Harbor this week.
On March 8, 2016, a female high-school student was walking to school on Thicket Drive, in Cold Spring Harbor at approximately 8:20 a.m. when a man drove up to the female, opened his car door and exposed his genitals. The man then attempted to engage the victim and called her over to his vehicle. The girl ran away and notified Cold Spring Harbor Junior/Senior High School security who contacted police.
The suspect was driving a small tan-colored four-door sedan. He is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s’ with a youthful appearance. He had black hair that was shaved on the sides. The center section of his hair was long and pulled in a bun.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS or Second Squad detectives at 631-854-8252. All calls will be kept confidential.
