Little Shelter Animal Rescue which was established in 1927 is a non-profit animal shelter that relies on donations and it’s volunteers to accomplish it’s mission of animal rescue.

“Despite freezing temperatures, blizzards, hurricanes, and anything else that mother nature throws our way, the volunteers are always present to take care of the animals. Many of our volunteers have been with Little Shelter for over 20 years, which shows the deep level of dedication our volunteers have here and something we are very proud of to celebrate.” Stated Maryann Chernovsky. Maryann will be celebrating her 26th year as Volunteer President of Little Shelter at the ceremony this Saturday.
Volunteers will be receiving awards for outstanding service at the shelter. After the presenting of the awards, refreshments and snacks will be served. The Ceremony beings at 5pm and is expected to end by 7pm. Come to Little Shelter to show your support of all the hard working volunteers and join us in celebrating these shelter heroes.
