Nineteen Commack High School students were awarded NYS Scholarships for Academic Excellence. Awards are based on student grades in certain Regents exams. The scholarships provide $500 to $1,500 per year for up to five years of undergraduate study in a New York State post-secondary college or university.
Director of Guidance, Jonathan Macaluso said, “Each of these students has excelled academically at a very high level and will be attending some of the most prestigious colleges in the country. I am confident that this fine group of young men and women will continue to impress us as they continue to pursue their academic and career goals.”
