OPEN HOUSE AT HUNTINGTON COMMUNITY FIRST AID SQUAD FOR NATIONAL EMS WEEK

HCFASIn recognition of National Emergency Medical Services Week (May 15th – 21st) the Huntington Community First Aid Squad will be hosting an Open House at its headquarters, 2 Railroad Street, Huntington Station, Sunday May 15th  2016 from 12 PM to 4 PM. There will be, fun, food , demonstrations and give-a-ways. HCFAS volunteers will offer blood pressure screening, give instructions in Hands Only CPR and provide information about becoming a volunteer with the 2nd busiest EMS agency in Suffolk County.


About Huntington Community First Aid Squad: Huntington Community First Aid Squad provides Advanced Life Support Ambulances and Emergency Medical Services to residents within the town of Huntington since 1967. All-volunteer crews are ready to go 24/7, 365 days a year, to answer the call from neighbors in need. The Huntington Community Ambulance District covers an area from Lloyd Harbor and Lloyd Neck in the North – to Melville in the South and from the Nassau/Suffolk border and Cold Spring Harbor in the West – to Greenlawn and Dix Hills in the East. Over 280 volunteer members responded to more than 6000 calls in 2015.
