The Elwood Union Free School District is pleased to congratulate Elwood-John H. Glenn High School seniors Madison Graifman and Peter Vidulich II for earning the Scholar Athlete Award in recognition of their exceptional academic and athletics success presented by the Town of Huntington on May 10. This award is issued to the top male and female student-athletes who hold the highest academic average in their grade.
During her time in high school, Graifman dedicated two years to the varsity volleyball team and four years as a winter and spring track runner. With a GPA of 98.6, she will attend the University of Michigan this fall on the track of pre-medical studies. Vidulich, a two-year varsity soccer player with a GPA of 95.2, will attend SUNY at Buffalo to study architecture.
During the ceremony, Town of Huntington Supervisor Frank Petrone presented each student-athlete with an award plaque.
