From Noon to 3pm on Sunday May 15, 2016, Little Shelter will be at Tula Kitchen in Bayshore for their 8th annual lunch-in fundraiser event to benefit the animals of Little Shelter. The event is hosted by Tula Kitchen owner, Jackie Sharlup and had been very successful in previous years, with last year’s event raising over $5,000 for the continued care of Little Shelter’s animals.
The event kicks off with hours d’oeuvers, a cash bar and live band. Attendees enjoy a relaxing time to socialize, order food and get tickets for the Chinese Auction that is held later on. Some of Little Shelter’s available animals who benefit from the fundraiser will be present in the out door area for people to meet. The Chinese Auction is held towards the end of the event and winners must be present to claim their prize. There will also be special door prizes and other fun goodies for those who attend.
Tickets for this fun filled event are $30 each. All proceeds go directly to the continued care of the animals at Little Shelter Animal Rescue. “This is a great event that is a lot of fun for everyone who comes. We are very greatful to Jackie Sharlup for hosting this event every year for the benefit of Little Shelter’s animals.” Stated Volunteer President Maryann Chernovsky.
