Maryland Man Stabbed in Huntington Village Bar

Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating a stabbing that occurred at a bar in Huntington early this morning.

A police officer was alerted Saturday June 4, 2016 at approximately 1:50 a.m. by a patron of Acacia, located at 371 New York Ave., that a man had been stabbed inside the bar. The victim, a 22-year-old Maryland man, was transported by Huntington Community First Aid Squad to Huntington Hospital with a non-life-threatening facial injury.

The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone who may have information on the stabbing to contact the Second Squad at 631-854-8252 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
