Huntington Manor FD Responds to Dump Truck Fire On Park Ave

The Huntington Manor Fire Department was dispatched to a fire that engulfed a 10-wheel dump truck on Park Avenue north of Jericho Turnpike, Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at about 5:45 a.m. Three Huntington Manor fire engines and 12 firefighters responded and quickly had the blaze under control. Units were under the command of Chief Frank McQuade and Assistant Chiefs Jon Hoffmann and Chuck Brady. Town of Huntington Spill Response and a Suffolk County road sander were requested to respond for a fuel spill. There were no injuries reported.
