Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who attempted to use a credit card stolen from a vehicle in Melville.
A man attempted to use a stolen credit card at Target, located at 4 Henry St. in Commack, on May 11 at approximately 2:30 p.m. The purchase was declined. The card had been stolen from a vehicle parked in the parking lot of Blink Fitness, located at 121 Broadhollow Road in Melville earlier in the day.
The man was described as black and in his 20s. He left the parking lot in a white SUV, possibly a mid-2000s Dodge Durango.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
