Huntington Station Business Improvement District (BID) Expands Area for Flowering Baskets

Petunias are once again in bloom along New York Ave. The Huntington Station Business Improvement District has purchased 400 flowering baskets that brighten the Rt. 110 corridor from Jericho Turnpike to the Big H shopping center.

This year the BID has expanded the area to include Depot Road and West Hills Road.  President Frank Consentino said the BID has ordered the baskets for the past 7 years and merchants are pleased to see the colorful flowers that signal the arrival of  summer each year. He also gave a special Thank You to the Town of Huntington General Service Department for hanging the baskets and watering them to keep them at their peak.
