Ryan Gurecki Arrested for DWI Again

Today at District Court in Central Islip Ryan Gorecki 34 of LINDENHURST NY was arraigned on DWI pleaded not guilty bail was set at $250,000 cash or $500,000 bond. For Killing Karen Holden of Huntington in a fatal DWI accident June 26, 2016.

Gurecki had the following issues:

• It was acknowledged by the DA office that this was his second DWI.
• He refused a Breathalyzer,
• Failed a field sobriety test,
• So Police secured a blood warrant but no results are back for the test yet.

EDITOR OPINION:
Gurecki and his reckless actions killed a mother of 2 young men, a wife and a career veteran RN with life saving skills herself. Karen Holden was a veteran skilled RN at St Francis Hospital for many years of doing nothing but helping people get better. So you have to ask where is the charge for Murder, Homicide, Assault with a deadly weapon or something other than DWI, come on DA’s Office step it up, because you have not done so in the many years. Most comments from social media can not be printed about this tragedy and now the DA and its office have to get it together.
