A leading figure in the children’s music world, Mister G’s 2015 Latin GRAMMY Award winner, Los Animales, also won the Parents’ Choice Gold Award. Los Animales is his third album of originial bilingual songs, following ABC Fiesta, and Chocolalala (Parents’ Choice Gold Award winner)

Huntington Community Band
Please join the Huntington Community Band, with guest music director, Don Larsen for “SOMETHING OLD, SOMETHING NEW,” an eclectic mix of exciting music from John Barry, Paul Hindemith, Jimmy Webb, Tom Davis, and much more! Tonight will feature the music styling of guest soloist Michael Salzman on the Tuba!
A special PRE-CONCERT of musical entertainment begins at 7:30PM!
Thursday, July 14th –
Ginkgoa is a French/American Pop Electroswing band that has made it their mission: to make generations of people dance, sway, and sing along to melodies that mix French songs with an American vibe, and American songs with a French touch. Founded in Paris in 2010 by Nicolle Rochelle (American singer, author and dancer) and Antoine Chatenet (French composer and producer), alongside drummer Grégory D’Addario, bassist Anne-Colombe Martin and clarinetist, keyboardist Corentin Giniaux, they offer a unique twist on traditional pop music.
The group is best known for their first single “From New York to Paris”, which has become the anthem of the perfume company ROCHAS for their European campaign. Today, GINKGOA is preparing to drop their first album towards the end of this year.

Illstyle & Peace Productions, Contemporary/Hip Hop Dance
Illstyle & Peace Productions is a multicultural dance company offering an eclectic mix of dance and performance disciplines including tap, ballet, house dancing, breaking, DJing and Beatboxing. This Philadelphia based dance troupe has created a new style of hip hop that they use as a vehicle to inspire hope and bring about positive change in people’s lives. Since 2002, the group has taken the stage, in hope of spreading their message of peace and positivity locally in Philadelphia, nationally and internationally.
Saturday, July 16th –
O Sole Trio, Classical Crossover
O Sole Trio is a vibrant, New York based, musical ensemble featuring the lush voices of soprano Erin Shields, baritone Giuseppe Spoletini along with the versatile and virtuosic David Shenton on piano and violin. O Sole Trio takes you on a musical journey, revealing how Italian Americans influenced the American popular music scene throughout the decades. O Sole Trio’s shows are both touching and humorous, featuring a program that showcases a cornucopia of beloved Italian opera arias, Neapolitan songs as well as jazz and pop standards made popular by such singers as Louis Prima, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Connie Francis and Andrea Bocelli. From humorous storytelling to innovative and unique arrangements, this trio breathes new life into songs and is fast-paced, funny and touching.
Sunday, July 17th –
Swingtime Big Band is a 20-piece authentic swing band comprised of master interpreters of music from the Swing Era (mid-1930’s through early 1950’s), and offers an authentic music experience that you can’t find anywhere else! Performing original arrangements of Big Band Classics from the Great American Songbook, this ensemble brings to life both the style and the spirit of this music for 21st century audiences to experience in living color. Swingtime thrills concert audiences and Ballroom dancers alike with authentic recreations of the timeless swing music of such great Big Band leaders as Count Basie, Artie Shaw, Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, Duke Ellington, Harry James, Woody Herman, Les Brown, Charlie Barnet and Stan Kenton, among many others.
All performances during the Summer Arts Festival are free and held on the Chapin Rainbow Stage in Heckscher Park, Huntington. The festival runs from June 25th – August 14th. All performances begin at 8:30 PM unless it is a Tuesday Night Family Series Event which begin at 7:30 PM.
Northport Community Band performances begin at 8:30 PM at the Robert F. Krueger Band Shell in Northport Harbor.
