150 PD Members to Honor Highly Respected Leader of Crime Stoppers and Public Information Bureau with Traditional Walkout
Suffolk County Police Department Deputy Chief Kevin Fallon, of the Office of the Commissioner, is hanging up his uniform today after more than 38 years of service to the residents of Suffolk County.
Deputy Chief Kevin Fallon began his career with the Suffolk County Police Department on December 20, 1977. During his decorated career, Deputy Chief Fallon has held the ranks of Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, Deputy Inspector and Deputy Chief. His assignments ranged from Patrol, Police Academy Bureau, Public Information, Property Section, Special Services Bureau, Office of Homeland Security, and the last four years in the Office of the Commissioner.
Deputy Chief Fallon’s walkout to honor his retirement from SCPD on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 3:50 p.m. at Suffolk County Police Headquarters, 30 Yaphank Avenue . Friends, family and members of the department in full uniform will line up on either side of the concourse in front of police headquarters where they will render a final salute to honor Chief Fallon and his distinguished career. A flyover by SCPD Aviation Section officers & Emerald Society Pipe & Drum band will perform as well. Chief Fallon will receive his final call over the radio and will depart for the final time as a sworn member of the Suffolk County Police Department.
