“STAY SUFFOLK” CAMPAIGN ENCOURAGES RESIDENTS TO EXPLORE LOCAL PARKS
“Stay Suffolk” – Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone’s new campaign aimed at encouraging Suffolk County residents to explore parks and enjoy activities close to home will not only help to keep tax dollars here in Suffolk County, but will help residents to realize what makes Long Island’s parks, beaches, golf courses and historic sites a great vacation destination.
If Golf is your game, the Suffolk County Parks Department has four public golf courses which offer nine and eighteen hole golf, driving range, putting green and a restaurant/catering facility.
Each course is also staffed by a PGA Professional and staff who provide group and individual lessons for people of all ages.
Suffolk County’s four great golf locations include:
Timber Point Golf Course – Great River, NY (27-hole course) (631) 581-2401
West Sayville Golf Course – West Sayville, NY (18-hole course) (631) 567-1704
Bergen Point Golf Course – West Babylon, NY (18-hole course) (631) 661-8282
Indian Island Golf Course – Riverhead, NY (18 hole course) (631) 727-7776
