The East Northport Fire Department Annual Parade and Fair kicks- off on Wednesday August 3rd, at 7 p.m. with a gala parade featuring 20 fire departments from throughout Long Island, a dozen marching bands, and plenty of shiny fire engines, both modern and antique. This year’s parade route has been changed, starting at Fifth Avenue and Larkfield Road, and heading north on Larkfield Road to the East Northport firehouse fairgrounds.
The Fair runs from August 3rd – 6th, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 7 p.m. – 11 p.m., and opening early on Saturday from 5 p.m. – 11 p.m. There will be live musical entertainment from several bands on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings.
Besides having many fun rides and games for kids and adults at the fair, firefighters will be cooking up and dishing out delicious summer food favorites including hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, zeppoles, cotton candy, ice cream and cold beverages. Bring the family and help support your dedicated East Northport volunteer firefighters and EMT’s that serve the community 24 hours a day.
