More Shooting in Huntington Station Near Colony Lounge

Another out of town Victim?

Why are there so many victims being shot at or shot that do not live in Huntington?  This seems to be a pattern yet Second Squad Detectives need our help to figure it out, again. The question to ask, is our Bars and or Restaurants a source for criminal activity or is it coincidental?

Many community members are getting very, very, concerned that our Elected officials are not doing their jobs. Why is our Supervisor Petrone not asking Commissioner Sini why after a shooting that the police are not canvassing neighborhoods to collect information, like on Varney & Lynch. Why do community members have to bring these items to the attention of our Supervisor, why? After talking with people around the community they seem to be done with the attitude of it is not my job. Supervisor Petrone STEP UP. Note(I have lived here for 59 years and it is getting worse and worse). Commissioner Sini we know you came into a very impossible position with the SCPD in shambles from what past Commissioner Burke did (and is now in jail for).  We were going well for awhile but seems we are going downhill again. Please meet with Supervisor Petrone and let’s get this place cleaned up. Do you know that certain community members are being approach by the police and have said to them directly “don’t tell us how to do our jobs”.
