The Melville Fire Department and Suffolk Police responded to a crash on Bagatelle Road and the South Service Road of the Long Island Expressway on Sunday, August 7,2016 at about 3:30 p.m. One of the two cars involved overturned on its roof.
The Melville FD was on the scene with three ambulances, an engine, heavy rescue truck, paramedic responder and fire police, under the command of First Assistant Chief Paul Mahler. Three occupants from both vehicles were transported to Huntington and Plainview hospitals by the Melville Rescue Squad.
