Adam Saalfield – GUILTY in the Murder of Maggie Rosales

On October 29, 2014 Adam Saalfield was arrested Suffolk County Police Homicide detectives in Huntington Station, for the murder of Maggie Rosales.  Maggie Rosales was found lying on Lynch Street, on October 12, 2014, stabbed to death by Adam Saalfield.   Adam Saalfield, 21, of Huntington Station was arrested Wednesday afternoon by homicide detectives.  He was charged with Murder in the 2nd degree.

Saalfield has been on trial for the last 2 weeks. Many community members are at the trial over these couple of weeks.  Many told us that the evidence is overwhelming and very graphic. The jury as of 1-pm has been given the charge by Judge Collins and now the jury is deliberating as to guilty or not.

As of 3 pm the jury just returned a Guilty Verdict after only 2 hours of deliberation, against Adam Saalfield for Murder in the second degree. Sentencing will be on 9:30 am September 23, 2016. Sentencing guidelines for the charge is Minimum: 15 years to life, Maximum: 25 years to life.
