Service Road LIE – Landscaping Truck and Car Crash in Dix Hills

The Dix Hills Fire Department was dispatched to a head-on collision occurring on Carlls Straight Path and the South Service Road on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at about 5:35 p.m. The crash involved a Mercedes-Benz sedan and a landscaping truck. Two occupants of the car suffered non-life threatening injuries and were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital by the Dix Hills Rescue Squad. Two ambulances, a heavy rescue engine, paramedic and first responder units were dispatched, under the direction of Company One Lieutenant Terence Vierling.
