The Harborfields Central School District brought the community together on Sept. 14, 2016 at Oldfield Middle School for “A Taste of Harborfields.” Sponsored by the district and Harborfields PTAs, the event featured a variety of community organizations and food.

Organizations in attendance included Harborfields Public Library, Girl Scouts, Youth Directions & Alternatives, Greenlawn Civic Association, Lily’s Bread Box and more. Tables were stationed around the cafeteria displaying information about their organizations and some even provided food. Harborfields school-community organizations joined in the festivities as well.

District administrators attended the event, conversing with the community and organizations.

“The intent of this event is to provide our community with the opportunity to learn about district organizations that support our schools,” said Superintendent of Schools Diana Todaro. “It is with their support that our students have been afforded wonderful experiences and opportunities.”
