The Huntington Manor Fire Department responded to a fully engulfed detached garage fire on Fourth Avenue in Huntington Station, Friday, October 14, 2016 at about 8:30 a.m. Forty firefighters using five trucks battled the blaze and were able to keep it from spreading to an adjacent garage. First Assistant Chief Mike DePasquale and Third Assistant Chief Chuck Brady directed fire ground operations. The Huntington Fire Department assisted at the scene with a Rapid Intervention Team, and Huntington Community Ambulance for EMS. There were no injuries reported and the Huntington Town Fire Marshal and Suffolk Police Arson Squad are investigation.
