Another Armed Robbery This time Greenlawn

Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating the robbery of a Greenlawn sandwich shop that occurred this afternoon.

At approximately at 1:30 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2016 , a man armed with a knife entered Subway, located at 97 Broadway, approached the counter and demanded money. The employee opened the register and complied with the suspect’s demands.

The robber was described as a white male, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, with a medium build and a gray beard. He was wearing a black and gray hooded sweatshirt with Ecko Unlimited written on the front, dark blue pants with white knee pads and a red ski mask covering his face.
