Unauthorized Practice of a Profession or Prostitution Arrests Made

Suffolk County Police have arrested two women during a massage parlor raid conducted in Huntington  Monday January 23, 2017.

In response to numerous community complaints, Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers, Suffolk County Police Criminal Intelligence Section detectives, Suffolk County Asset Forfeiture detectives, and Town of Huntington Code Enforcement officers, conducted an investigation into illegal activities at King Day Spa, located at 17 Semon Road, Huntington.

The following women were arrested at 4:15 p.m. and charged with Unauthorized Practice of a Profession, a Class E Felony under the NYS Education Law and Prostitution under the New York State Penal Law:
• Xiao Feng Zhou, 50, of Flushing
• Xiao Hong Zhou, 47, of Flushing

Look Inside King Day Spa

An investigation by Town of Huntington Code Enforcement officers revealed numerous occupancy and town code violations. Town Officials stated the following is part of the investigation.

The Town will be issuing summonses to both the owner of the property and the tenants for:

  • No certificate of occupancy for massage parlor
  • Interior alterations without permit and certificate of occupancy
  • Illegal signs
  • No plumbing permit

The summonses will be returnable in District Court.

The women are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on January 24, 2017.

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
