The Elwood Union Free School District invites community members to attend a special Superintendent’s Forum on Feb. 9, 2017 at 6 p.m., in the Elwood Middle School auditorium to discuss the district’s current facility challenges and share recommendations made by the district’s Facilities Committee.
Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kenneth Bossert will lead an open discussion and will encourage community members to give their input as the district begins to explore a possible bond referendum project for vote this fall. The goal is to develop a plan to address critical issues in the school buildings to ensure a safe, secure and comfortable learning environment for students.
In addition, community members are encouraged to share their input by participating in a survey about the potential bond referendum. The survey link will be posted to the district’s website, www.elwood.k12.ny.us beginning on Feb. 10, 2017 and will be open for responses until March 10, 2017.
