Another Prostitution Bust – Three Women Arrested During Massage Parlor Raid

Suffolk County Police today arrested three women during a massage parlor raid conducted in Huntington Station Thursday February 2, 2017 at 2:20pm.

In response to numerous community complaints, Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers, Second Squad detectives, Suffolk County Police Criminal Intelligence Section detectives, Homeland Security officers, and Town of Huntington Code Enforcement officers, conducted an investigation into illegal activities at Ruby Spa, located at 332 East Jericho Turnpike, Huntington Station, NY.

The following women were arrested at approximately 2:20 p.m. and charged with Unauthorized Practice of a Profession, a Class E Felony under the NYS Education Law and Prostitution under the New York State Penal Law:

• In Sun, 59, of Flushing Below

• Bokim Cho, 61, of  Flushing

• Young Kim 64, of Flushing

An investigation by Town of Huntington Code Enforcement officers revealed numerous occupancy and town code violations. The Town Public Safety Officers issued the following SUMMONSES:

• No Certificate of Permitted Use for Massage Parlor;  
• No Certificate of Occupancy for Studio Apartment;
• Interior Alterations 1^st Floor; 
• Interior Alterations 2^nd  Floor; 
• Exterior Entrance in the rear of the building;
• Plumbing Permit Required – 1^st Floor Shower;
• Plumbing Permit Required – 2^nd Floor Shower;
• Litter & Debris – Garage in rear parking lot
• The women are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on February 3, 2017.

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
