Huntington Man Falls Off Ladder Transported to Stony Brook Trauma Center

HUNTINGTON COMMUNITY FIRST AID SQUAD (HCFAS) RESPONDS TO MALE WHO FELL 12 FEET.

At approximately 1:20 PM Wednesday June 28, 2017, the Huntington Community First Aid Squad received a call on Nevinwood Place for a male who fell about 12 feet from a ladder.  Upon arrival HCFAS found a 71 year old male who suffered a severe head injury.  It was deemed necessary to send the patient to a level one trauma center.  Huntington Community First Aid Squad transported the victim to Maplewood Intermediate School where a Suffolk County PD helicopter had landed and the victim was flown to Stony Brook Hospital.
