The Class of Life: A Theatrical Experience

Paul Failla will perform this original biographical play which chronicles his thoughts on his last day as a Suffolk County police officer. Follow along as he reminisces about his experiences in uniform, his motivation to become a police officer, his proud Italian heritage, his upbringing, and married life. Utilizing a blend of humor and drama, Paul will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride with stories sure to touch your heart. Q&A follows the performance. Free & open to all. We Two: Women’s Empowerment Across Two Generations

Two award-winning singer/songwriters, from generations “Silent” and “Baby Boomer,” separated by 30 years, bring their journeys to a moment of intersection and mutual inspiration. Lois Morton and Annie Mark will share their experiences as women through music – at times humorous, at times reflective, some original – as what is old becomes new and what is new becomes empowering. My Italian Secret: The Forgotten Heroes Film & Discussion

Consulting producer Vincent E. Marmorale will show this true story of brave Italians, including Gino Bartali, the famous cycling champion, who defied the Nazis and Fascists to hide, rescue, and protect thousands of innocent Jewish people and others in Italy during the Holocaust. My Italian Secret challenges viewers to ask: Why would someone risk their life and put their family in jeopardy to “do the right thing” and protect the life of another person, especially that of a stranger? Q&A and discussion follows.

Thanksgiving Garden with Pauley the Plant Guy
