In a sign of continued momentum, Huntington Town Clerk Andrew Raia endorsed Stephanie Bontempi’s candidacy for the Suffolk County Legislature’s 18th District. Raia, who formerly served as a State Assemblyman, cited Bontempi’s clear plan to protect taxpayers, provide more public protection and improve the overall quality of our environment.

“It is a privilege to endorse Stephanie Bontempi, candidate for the Suffolk County Legislature,” said Huntington Town Clerk Andrew Raia. “I have personally known Stephanie for more than two decades and I am continually impressed with her devotion to her family and our community. Stephanie has long been a community advocate speaking out on the issues that matter most to us. She will bring a breath of fresh air and fresh ideas to the County Legislature.”

“The Raia family have served the people of Huntington with dignity, constantly putting the interests of residents first,” said Stephanie Bontempi. “From standing with our law enforcement and fighting back against efforts to weaken our criminal justice laws, to enhancing our quality, Andrew has been there for us every step of the way. I look forward to partnering with him as a County Legislator and am proud and humbled to have his support.”

Stephanie Bontempi is a mother and 5th grade teacher. She is running for the Suffolk County Legislature’s 18th Legislative District.
