ROMAINE, SUFFOLK COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTION OFFICIALS TO UNVEIL BOARD OF ELECTIONS’ NEW EARLY VOTING TRAINING CENTER
New Center to Ensure Election Integrity & Serve as an Early Voting Location for Upcoming Election
Hauppauge, NY – Suffolk County Executive Ed Romaine and local officials will join the Suffolk County Board of Elections to unveil the County’s new Early Voting Training Center.
The $2.8 million facility will serve as a hub for training poll inspectors, poll coordinators and essential election personnel to ensure election integrity. The Center is designed to provide comprehensive training to those overseeing polling locations during Early Voting from October 26 to November 3 and on Election Day November 5th.
The Center is part of the County’s $34.8 million investment for new voting machines, infrastructure improvements, and various projects at the Board of Elections to ensure accurate elections in Suffolk County to be in compliance with recent changes in election laws.
