Ed Smyth, Huntington Town Supervisor said, “We are excited to feature filmmakers like Mark Bozek who have a direct connection to Huntington as part of the festival’s Meet the Filmmaker series”.  He continued, “The Town’s Office of Film & Television continues to attract film and TV productions here, and we are using the “Meet the Filmmaker” series as an opportunity to showcase some of our most popular film locations, local service providers, and hospitality businesses.”

Joe Schramm, the Festival producer, and the director of the Town’s Office of Film & Television added “Attendees will have the opportunity to see a trailer from the documentary and ask questions of the panelists at the end of the moderated conversation.  Afterwards, they may also purchase a personally autographed copy of Bozek’s latest book and an autographed reproduction of the book’s cover, designed by Ruben Toledo.”  Bozek remarked “I am honored to be a part of the inaugural Made in Huntington Film & TV Festival. I’m especially proud to include the launch of my first book with Rizzoli, called “The Battle of Versailles: The Fashion Showdown of 1973”. I believe in thinking local and acting global. This festival will be great for the Town that my family and I have called home for over twenty years.”
