Scouts will take part in the Suffolk County Council’s annual Good Turn, Scouting for Food. Armed with paper grocery bags donated by King Kullen Supermarkets, local Scouts will participate in this annual effort to help replenish local food pantries.

Scouts need the community’s support to help feed the hungry people of Suffolk County. Nonperishable goods (cans and boxes) are needed. Scouts will assist in sorting and bagging the donated food that is collected.  All the food will be distributed to help replenish the shelves of more than a half a dozen local food pantries in the Matinecock District (Huntington and Smithtown).
