Statement from Assemblyman Andrew Raia: 

I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to my friend and fellow Huntington resident Sen. John J. Flanagan on becoming Senate Majority Leader. I’ve known John for many years and I can say with absolute certainty that this is a great move for the people of New York, the residents of Long Island and most certainly the residents of Huntington. I look forward to continuing my work with Sen. Flanagan to make Long Island more affordable, getting our schools their fair share, and improving the quality of life in Suffolk County.
