According to Suffolk County Police a 2014 Jeep Wrangler was traveling northbound on Oakwood Road in Huntington Station when another vehicle that was not involved in the crash, made a left turn in front of the Jeep onto Crombie Street which forced the Jeep to swerve and crash into a utility pole at approximately 11:35 p.m. on June 20th 2015. The driver of the Jeep was not injured, but his wife and 16-month-old child, who were passengers, were taken to a local hospital where they were treated and released. The vehicle was not impounded and there were no charges against either driver. Crash was apparently weather-related because of heavy rain in the area.
