Newsday Reporter Harassed by Mailing

Sandra Peddie’s story

As we head for election time here in Huntington the silly season has started earlier than usual. Someone or group of people have decided to bring down public opinion of Newsday reporter Sandra Peddie. This attack on a fellow reporter is one of the most stupid mailers we have seen here in Huntington in a long time.

Sources have told us that the mailing originated from the Huntington Post Office and from a business in Huntington Village, we are looking further into this. It boggles the mind to figure out what is to be accomplished by it, except to say “We are worried about something Sandra Peddie is about to report on.”

We contacted Sandra Peddie for a comment on this mailer.

Sandra stated “When your job as an investigative reporter is to cover powerful people and institutions, misleading attacks like this are not surprising. The reporting I’ve done speaks for itself, and I will continue to do my job.”
