Gateway Community Garden to Host 5th Annual Vegetable Sale

On Saturday, August 15 from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm, Gateway Community Garden will be hosting its 5^th annual Sunripe tomato and vegetable sale; selling hand-tended, pesticide-free sun ripened tomatoes, cucumbers, okra, peppers, collard greens, herbs and more. All at below supermarket prices. Sales help support the garden, which is a nonprofit managed by volunteers.

All are welcome, especially those in need of affordable, fresh healthy food.

The sale will take place on the corner of Lowndes Avenue and New York Avenue, Just south of Big H shopping center, Huntington Station, NY.

The Garden is truly a multi-cultural place, and the gateway between the Village and the Station.
