Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Motor Vehicle Crash New York Avenue and Depot Road, Huntington Station

Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that seriously injured a pedestrian in Huntington Station last night.

Anael Santiago, of Huntington Station, was walking across New York Avenue near Depot Road Monday October 26 2015 at 10:25 p.m. when he was struck by a 2010 Toyota crime stoppers, SCPD, Huntington NY, 11746, 11743Camry that was traveling northbound on New York Avenue.

Santago, 29, was transported by ambulance to Huntington Hospital where he is being treated for serious injuries.

The driver of the Toyota Marie Cantave, 53, of Huntington Station, was not injured in the crash.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information about this crash to contact the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.
