The Huntington Fire Department responded to a crash involving two vehicles on Route 25A near Park Avenue, Sunday night, December 6, at around 5 p.m. Huntington firefighters secured the vehicles, both SUV’s, and applied an absorbent to the roadway for a fuel spill. Firefighters were on the scene with a heavy rescue truck, and were under the direction by Chief Robert Berry. The injured victims were transported to Huntington Hospital by the Huntington Community First Aid Squad. Traffic was closed on Route 25A between Park Avenue and North Woodhull Road, until the wreckage was cleared.
