Bank Robbery in East Northport

Suffolk County Police Pattern Crime Unit detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred today at a E. Northport bank.

A man entered the Chase Bank, located at 17 Huntington Square Mall, at approximately 2:37 p.m. Thursday Jan. 14th, 2016 and verbally announced a robbery. He went behind the teller counter and removed cash from the drawer. He fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspect is approximately 30 years-old to 40 years-old. He is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall to 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a black mask, grey hooded-jacket, and jeans.
