Suffolk County Police Pattern Crime Unit detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred in Huntington Station.
A man and woman entered Roslyn Savings Bank, located at 693 Jericho Turnpike, on Tuesday January 19, 2016 at 1:40 p.m. and each approached a different teller and handed notes demanding cash. The tellers complied and the suspects fled on foot northbound on Longfellow Drive.
The man was described as black, 20 to 25 years old, between 5 feet 8 and 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a ski hat, a scarf, a gray hooded-sweatshirt and white pants. The woman was described as black, heavy set, 30 to 35 years old, between 5 feet and 5 feet 3 inches tall. She was wearing a ski hat, a gray hooded-sweatshirt and earmuffs covering the lower half of her face.

The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
