Man Arrested for 2015 Burglary in Huntington Station

Suffolk County Police arrested a man on February 5th, 2016 at approximately 3:30pm for a burglary he committed at a residence in Huntington Station in October, 2015.

 

An unknown male unlawfully entered a residence in Huntington Station on October 3, 2015 at crimesceneapproximately 7:40 p.m. The man was discovered by a homeowner who was inside. A struggle ensued

and the intruder stated he had a handgun, before fleeing the scene.

 

Following an investigation by Second Squad detectives, DNA evidence recovered was linked to Scott Lundquist. Lundquist, 59, of  W. 14th Street, Huntington Station, was arrested today at approximately 3:30 p.m. He was charged with Burglary 1st Degree, Assault 3rd Degree, and Resisting Arrest. He is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on February 6, 2016.

 

The investigation is continuing.

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
