Bank of America Robbed in Commack

Suffolk County Police Major Crime Unit detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred today Friday April 29, 2016 at a Commack bank.

A man entered the Bank of America, located at 41 Veterans Memorial Highway, at approximately 12:30 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied with the demand, and the suspect fled on foot in a southern direction.

The suspect was described as black, approximately 6 feet tall, with a medium build and shaved head. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark colored pants.
