Huntington Fire Chiefs’ Council Installs Officers

The Town of Huntington Fire Chiefs’ Council recently installed their new executive officers at a ceremony held at the Northport Fire Department. Huntington Town Supervisor Frank Petrone administered the oath of office to, from left, Ex-Chief Chris Ingwersen, Cold Spring Harbor Fire Department, Secretary; Ex-Chief Gary Hontz, Eaton’s Neck Fire Department, Treasurer; Supervisor Petrone, Ex-Chief John McDonough, Northport Fire Department, President; Ex-Chief Dan McConnell, Halesite Fire Department, First Vice President; Assistant Chief Chuck Brady, Huntington Manor Fire Department, Second Vice President. The Fire Chiefs Council represents the volunteer fire departments and ambulance squads that provide fire protection and emergency medical service within the Town of Huntington.
