More Violent Crime Reported No Arrest Yet.

This has been the 7th violent crime in the last 2 months in Huntington. Police received a 911 call regarding a man with a gun on Fairground Street in Huntington Station at approximately 2:55 p.m. Monday August 8, 2016 as well as a shotspotter activation.

When police arrived, the man was gone and officers found evidence that a bullet struck a garbage can and a fence.  This is the 6th shooting in the last 2 months. Many have asked and are asking WHAT is the Town Doing about this?

The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Second Squad detectives at 631-854-8252 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
