$10,000 for Information Leading to Arrest (s) of Person or Persons Responsible for Murders of Two Brentwood Teens

The Suffolk County Police Department and Suffolk County Crime Stoppers announce an increase in the reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or people responsible for the murders of two Brentwood teens.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers has received a generous donation of $5,000 from an anonymous donor which now doubles the reward to $10,000.  The money is guaranteed to be paid within 48 hours for the first tip that leads to the apprehension of the person or people responsible for the deaths of Nisa Mickens, 15, and Kayla Cuevas, 16 near Stahley Street and Ray Court in Brentwood on September 13.

“The Suffolk County Police Department is thankful for the anonymous donation which reflects the resilient partnership between the department, Crime Stoppers and the community,” stated Commissioner Timothy D. Sini.  “Partnerships such as this are truly fundamental and we encourage anyone with information which may lead to the capture the depraved individual or individuals who took the lives of these two young ladies to call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at 1.800.220.TIPS.”
