Teenagers from The Chai Center’s CTeen chapter in Dix Hills took over the kitchen at the Center on September 22 to cook enough meals for ten families who are facing health issues — coping with a sick parent and/or child. The teens peeled, chopped, boiled and baked for several hours creating a festival meal, ensuring these families have a joyous feast during the upcoming Jewish holidays. CTeen, the fastest growing Jewish teen network in the world, inspires and facilitates teens who want to give back to their community and environment. #IAmTheChaiCenter
