Two Reported Dead at Commack Motor Inn

Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating an incident in which a man and woman were found deceased inside a hotel room at Commack Motor Inn, located at 2231 Jericho Turnpike in Commack at approximately 12:33 p.m. September 28, 2016.

An employee entered a room after the occupants failed to check out at their scheduled time and discovered a man and woman deceased inside. The investigation revealed the man killed the woman and then shot himself. The Suffolk County Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death for the woman. The identities are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
