Home Invasion at 3am on Oakcrest Drive in Huntington Station

Suffolk County Police today arrested two women for a home invasion/burglarizing an occupied home in Huntington Station.

A resident of a home on Oakcrest Drive woke up after hearing a noise and observed two people standing in the hallway of her home at approximately 3:15 a.m October 4, 2106. They fled and she called 911. Second Precinct Patrol, Canine Section and Aviation Section officers responded.

Approximately 30 minutes later, Second Precinct Police Officer Jesus Faya located Gianna Figliolia and arrested her. Second Precinct Crime Section Officers Heather McQuade and Bobby Temple then located Angelina Navas several hours later and arrested her.

Following an investigation by Second Squad detectives, Figliolia, 25, of 46 New York Ave., Sound Beach, was charged with Burglary 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree and Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument. Angelina Navas, 24, of 276 Berwick Court, Ridge, was charged with Burglary 2nd Degree and Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument.  Once again people from outside Huntington given Huntingtonians concerns.  Also again drug related to Heroin.

Figliolia and Navas will be held overnight at the Fourth Precinct for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip on October 5, 2016.
