Thank You Stimson Community

As many of you are aware, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Many of us on Long Island and here in the South Huntington community have had a loved one affected by this disease.  To honor those lives impacted and to support research, all Stimson students and staff wore pink on Friday, October 14, 2016.  Each staff member made a donation of five dollars or more, and students were encouraged to donate one dollar. We are proud to announce that as a building we raised over one thousand dollars that will be donated to “Stand Up for Suzanne,” a fundraising group set up to honor Suzanne Shea, a South Huntington mom.  They have joined with Cold Spring Harbor Lab, a leader in Breast Cancer Research.  Great job Stimson!
